Coastal Plains Teal Hunt 

Dates:

  • September 8-10 Ladies Only 
  • September 12-14 Coed

Location : Eagle Lake, Texas

Teal Hunt Schedule : 

  • Day 1: Arrive at 3:00pm; 5:00pm cocktails and appetizers; 7:00pm dinner 

  • Day 2: 4:30am coffee and continental breakfast; 5:00am travel to field, 11:00am hunt ends and return to Outpost for larger breakfast/lunch, afternoon free, 5:00pm cocktails and appetizers; 7:00pm dinner 

  • Day 3: 4:30am coffee and continental breakfast; 5:00am travel to field, 11:00am hunt ends and return to Outpost for larger breakfast/lunch, 1:00pm check out 

Includes: 

  • Two days of hunting and two nights of lodging (near Columbus, Texas)

Campo Paloma Dove Hunt

Dates:

  • September 18-20 Coed

Location : Hunt in Brownsville, TX and Stay in South Padre Island 

Schedule: 

  • Day 1: Arrive at 3:00pm in the fields in Brownsvillestart hunt; 7:00pm hunt ends and return to Outpost for dinner 

  • Day 2: Morning Hunt Option 5:30am coffee and continental breakfast; 6:00am travel to field, 10:00am hunt ends and return to Outpost for larger breakfast/lunch, afternoon free, Afternoon hunt option 4:00pm travel to field and start hunt;  7:00pm hunt ends and return to Outpost for dinner 

  • Day 3: 5:30am coffee and continental breakfast; 6:00am travel to field, 10:00am hunt ends and return to Outpost for larger breakfast/lunch, 1:00pm check out 

Includes: 

  • Three dove hunts with sunrise or sunset options spaced over 3 days with two nights of lodging

Enter the Uplands

Dates:

  • October 9-11

Location : Wimberly, TX 

Participants : Ladies Only

Schedule : 

  • Arrive 5pm meet field mentors and team  

  • Practice shooting sporting clays at Spoke Hollow Sporting clays course, gain confidence in your shot and gun  

  • Enjoy a wild game dinner and drinks around the fire pit 

  • 8am breakfast followed by a safety briefing before going into the field to learn proper field etiquette, bird identification and safely moving around dogs with a loaded gun.  

  • Break for lunch in the field 

  • After lunch continue building on your knowledge and begin practicing shooting live birds in different hunting scenarios. 

  • Bring your harvested birds back to camp and learn how to pluck and prepare for your own dinner table.  

  • Last day will wrap up with further discussion about hunters’ critical role in conserving wild spaces and how you can participate in future opportunities

  • Work with upland dogs 

  • Shotgun instruction, clays, and ammunition

Catskills CC Ladies Grouse, Woodcock and Trout Cast and Blast Weekend 

Dates:

  • October 13-15

Location : Deposit, New York

Participants : Ladies Only

Schedule : 

  • Friday, October 13 : 

    Arrive at Dream Catcher for a mini-grouse school taught by the Ruffed Grouse Society.  We will cover the basics of what to expect in the field along with fly fishing instruction to help you prepare for the stream.  Class will be followed by a family-style dinner. 
  • Saturday, October 14 : Saturday morning we will meet for a continental breakfast.  After breakfast, you will be paired with a fishing guide for an all-day float trip on the world-famous Delaware River.  Lunch will be served in the boat and we will gather at the end of the day for a family-style dinner. 

  • Sunday, October 15 : Sunday morning we will meet for a continental breakfast.  After breakfast, you will be paired with a hunting guide for an all-day grouse & woodcock hunt over dogs.  Lunch will be served in the field.

Big Game Basics

Dates:

  • November 7-9

Location : Wimberly, Tx 

Participants : Ladies Only

Schedule : 

  • A holistic introduction into the outdoors and the role hunters and anglers play in conservation  
  • Outdoor and firearms safety by experts  
  • Education on fundamental concepts related to hunting, including but not limited to animal identification, food and water sources and habitat management  
  • Hard skills such as cleaning, butchering and cooking wild game  
  • Education on how to continue to hunt and ways to get involved and be and advocate for conservation 

Includes: 

  • Animal breakdown and butchering demonstration 
  • Food preparation, cooking, and recipes 
  • All meals are included 
  • 2-3 hunting opportunities over the weekend 
  • Education around the wildlife and habitat 
  • Skill development essential for hunting 
  • Campsites or accommodations will be provided depending on location. Locations will vary, but will all be within an 80-mile radius of Wimberley 
  • Rifle and ammunition provided upon request
